I. Introduction
A. What?
1. The very title of this sermon may give you pause.
2. To state that there are things that God does not know sounds contrary to God’s nature.
3. The title may be a little deceiving; we’re using the phrase as an exaggeration to encourage us to think about five truths about God.
B. So, what are five things God doesn’t know?
II. Five Things God Does Not Know
A. A Sin He does not
1. In Proverbs 6:16-19, we read a list of six things the Lord hates and a seventh, which is an abomination to Him.
2. God is serious about sin!
3. God hates sin because it us from Him (Isaiah 59:1-2).
B. A Sinner He does not .
1. God’s desire is that men be saved. (1 Timothy 2:4)
a. God sent His Son to die for us because of His love for us. (John 3:16)
b. He does not enjoy the death of even the wicked. (Ezekiel 18:23)
c. 2 Peter 3:9
2. Our God has provided all that we need to find salvation. He has shared that knowledge with us, not hidden it.
C. Another of saving souls.
1. Jesus is the way to salvation.

2. Jesus is a precious gift we should not reject.
D. A better time to be saved than right !
1. Throughout the NT, we feel a sense of when the inspired writers discuss salvation.
a. Acts 8:36
b. Acts 22:16
c. 2 Corinthians 6:2
2. Procrastination can be a tool of the devil.
E. An that we could explain our rejection of His saving grace.
1. Human beings are good at making excuses. We justify and rationalize ourselves into believing things that aren’t true.
2. In the parable of the Great Banquet, none of the excuses offered were acceptable. (Luke 14:15-24)

4. God allows us to make excuses, but He doesn’t them. We only deceive ourselves when we think our excuses will work.
5. We have been invited, but we must accept the invitation.
III. Conclusion
A. Things God Doesn’t Know
1. This is a list designed to get us to think about who God is and what He has done for us.
2. There are other things we could put on this list, but this is sufficient for you to get the idea that God has communicated His love for us in His Word so that we can be with Him for all eternity.
